Jobbeschreibung:

The job involves a 12-month internal retraining program in Mannheim to prepare for the role of a train driver in freight transport. The training includes theoretical modules and practical phases, with a focus on safety, responsibility, and technical knowledge. After successful completion, the candidate will obtain the European Train Driver's License.

Verantwortlichkeiten:

safe and punctual transport of goods on the rail for our customers
checking the technical readiness of the trains before each departure
being in charge of the train and responsible for the execution of the journey

Anforderungen:

successful school graduation or completed vocational training (e.g., as a professional driver, warehouse logistics specialist, or baker)
at least 20 years old
willingness to work in shift and alternating shifts, especially in late and night shifts as well as on Sundays and holidays
interest in technical contexts
high sense of responsibility, reliability, and independence
medical and psychological suitability
no relevant entries in the driving aptitude register
